Howard L. Grounds Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard L. Grounds of Rushsylvania, Ohio, who passed away on November 4, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard Tarquen and Marjorie Geneva Grounds (Rector); his daughter Coriena Rose Randall; and his sons-in-law, John Randall and Ryan Bahr.

He is survived by : his children, Danialle K. Bahr of Enon, Robb Grounds of Columbus and Elizabeth Beistline of Enon; his grandchildren, J. C., Taytum, Urijah, Nyjah, Alijah and Josijah; and his brother Byron Grounds (Mary) of Indianapolis.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 5455 North High Street, Columbus, OH 43214.

Stewart Graham wrote a sympathy message

“I am so sorry to hear of Howard’s passing. We were friends growing up I lived at 10th and Eaton Avenue in Indianapolis and he and his family lived Anemone lane. I moved away before high school but would visit often. I even dropped in on his brother when he worked at a local appliance store (HH Greg). I have fond memories of playing basketball (horse) and pickup football games in the back yard. Reading comics on the the cold basement floor during hot summer days. Stewart Graham 920-216-8604”
