He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dana and Georgia Stimmel Coleman; his sisters, Suzanne (Charles Bond) and Nancy (Ken Null); and his parents-in-law, Bud and Betty Doebert.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Sue Doebert Coleman; his children, Jill Schlotterer (Tim) of Bexley and Jack Coleman of Sunbury; his grandchildren, Madison Schlotterer, Mitchell Schlotterer (Lauryn), Abbey Coleman and Ryder Coleman; and his in-laws, Teenie Williams (Joe), Denny Doebert (Judy) and Ronnie Doebert (Rita). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John's memory to Indian Lake Community Church, Universal Hospice of Bellefontaine or American Cancer Society.
