It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Dana Coleman II of Russells Point, Ohio, born in Marysville, Ohio, who passed away on September 30, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dana and Georgia Stimmel Coleman; his sisters, Suzanne (Charles Bond) and Nancy (Ken Null); and his parents-in-law, Bud and Betty Doebert.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Sue Doebert Coleman; his children, Jill Schlotterer (Tim) of Bexley and Jack Coleman of Sunbury; his grandchildren, Madison Schlotterer, Mitchell Schlotterer (Lauryn), Abbey Coleman and Ryder Coleman; and his in-laws, Teenie Williams (Joe), Denny Doebert (Judy) and Ronnie Doebert (Rita). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Indian Lake Community Church (121 N Orchard Island Rd, Russells Point, OH 43348).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John's memory to Indian Lake Community Church, Universal Hospice of Bellefontaine or American Cancer Society.
