With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bob Rau of Russellville, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 3, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Bob leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Bob may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Joseph and Bertha Rosalie Tamme Rau; and his niece Theresa Evans. He is survived by: his wife Pat Haitz Rau; his children, Brian Rau (Michele) of Maysville, KY, Brady Rau (Christy) of Pine Island, FL, Brandon Rau of Maysville, KY, Angie King (Aaron) of Russellville and Kenneth Aker (Nicholas) of Amelia; and his siblings, Jim Rau (Rosie) of Winchester, Edward Rau (Judy) of Winchester and Mary Helen Evans (Hugh) of Amelia. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
