She was predeceased by: her parents, Clem Knapke and Anna Knapke (Zumburge); her husband Linus Monnin; her sons, Jack Monnin and Doug Monnin; her brothers, Paul Knapke and Mark Knapke; and her in-laws, Evelyn Monnin, P. S., Carl and Doris Monnin.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon, Jeffrey Wampler, Della, Chris Steinke, Rena and Philip Miller; her daughter-in-law Karen Monnin (Troy); her siblings, Jerry, Joan Knapke, Bob Bangasser of Freeport, IL and Eileen Ehlers Leipsic; and her in-laws, Bill Mann, Elaine Knapke and Norma Bensman. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home (555 S Liberty St, Russia, OH 45363). A Mass was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Remy Catholic Church (108 E Main St, Russia, OH 45363).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Vitas Palliative Care, Dayton, Ohio.
