He was predeceased by: his parents, William Howard Gloyd, Sr. and Audrey Marie Curnutte Gloyd; his siblings, Mamie, Sandy, Judy and Dougie; and his close friends, Dave Nueltzling and Robert Williams.
He is survived by: his sisters, Wilma Diane Kight, Ellen Victoria Barrett and Sherry Marie Miller (Michael Shelton). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
