He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy; his children, Scott Helmick, Jennifer Helmick and Christopher Helmick; his grandchildren, Riley, Lucas, Brynn, Piper, Tatum and Maeve; his siblings, David Helmick (Marian) and Beverly Wilson; and his parents, William Helmick and Martha Helmick.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Busch Romito Funeral Home - Bedford (521 Broadway Ave, Bedford, OH 44146). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorials be made to a charity of your choice.
