He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Nester and Jennie Kocsis Nester; his wife Penny Gay Peterson Nester; his brother Anthony "Ted" Nester; his brother-in-law Michael Evonek; and his nephew Michael Evonek.
He is survived by: his siblings, Michael "Mick" Nester (Sandy) and Yolonda Nester Evonek; his nieces and nephews, Todd Nester, Stephanie Connors (Shawn), Robert Evonek (Stefanie), Lori Evonek Orr (Jerry), Melissa Porter (Ben), Christopher Nester (Heather) and Jason Nester; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Peterson and Denise Nester. He is also survived by several great nieces and great nephews; and a special friend.
