He was predeceased by: his parents, Suzanna Hutira Slavik and Emil Slavik, Sr.; and his siblings, Mary, Edward and Emil, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Vincenzo Slavik; his children, John Slavik, Jr., Theresa Feisley (Geoff), Joe Slavik (Diane) and Michelle Gabram (Kurt); his grandchildren, Jake Slavik (Grace), Julianne Slavik, Jacob Feisley, William Feisley (Emily), Daniel Slavik (Megan), Claire Slavik, Luke Slavik, Savannah Farrell (Nolan), Olivia Gabram (Thomas Snavely) and Isabelle Gabram; his great grandchildren, Levi, Lydia Slavik, Annie, Sophie and James Slavik; and his sister-in-law DJ Slavik. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Toothman Funeral Home (141 S Marietta St, St Clairsville, OH 43950). The military honors will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Mary's Catholic Church (218 W Main St, St Clairsville, OH 43950).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Church or St. Mary's Central School, St. Clairsville, Ohio.
