He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bob" Tomer and Bernice Tomer (Anderson); his wife Sue Tomer (D'Angelo); and his sisters-in-law, Donna Helms (D'Angelo) and Ellie Tomer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kelli Poe (Andy) and Kerri Tomer (Mike) of Buddy's Girls; his grandchildren, Max Thornton and Emma Poe; and his siblings, Lucinda "Cindy" Waters (Bill), Kevin Tomer, Robert "Bobby" Tomer (Lori) and Timothy "Tim" Tomer (Richelle).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Toothman Funeral Home (141 S Marietta St, St Clairsville, OH 43950). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
