He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Anderson and Beatrice Anderson (Swank); and his siblings, Barbara Anderson, Miriam Basinger (Chauncey) and David Anderson (Kaye).

He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Anderson (Edgington) of St. Henry, OH; his children, Jason Anderson (Daphne) of Prairieville, LA and Jennifer "Jen" Morris of Dayton, OH; his grandchildren, Jacob Anderson of Cridersville, OH, Sierra King of Atlanta, GA, Alexis Guise of Prairieville, LA and Emma Morris of Dayton, OH; and his niece Joy Hall. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and beloved friends.

“I am a long time friend of Dans, and just learned of his passing. We grew up together in Cairo, and Graduated together, plus going to cairo elementary. I have many memories of our youth together, (youth fellowship, playing music, making candy, going to Lakeside, and his infectious laughter) am so sad to hear this, but we will all have our memories. If i had known, i would surly have been to his visitation. You have my deepest sympathy❤️🙏🏻❤️”
