He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Eugene Sprague and Martha Sprague (Berron); and his sister Carla Jean Sprague. He is survived by: his siblings, David Sprague (Juli) of St. Marys, Ann Morris (Ed) of St. Marys and Jane Schmiesing (Sam) of Celina; his siblings' children, Brian Morris (Lizann) of St. Marys, Eric Morris (Danielle) of St. Marys, Kevin Sprague (Tiffany) of St. Marys, David Stark (Shannon) of St. Marys, Kyle Sprague (Katie) of Hilliard, Kelly Roth (Andrew) of Celina and Natasha James (Tom) of St. Marys; and his friend Jason Potter of St. Marys. He is also survived by 19 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home (314 W High St, St Marys, OH 45885). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Auglaize County.
