It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Ann Schmehl of Saint Marys, Ohio, who passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Etter and Ethel Etter (Wistner); her spouse Lee Schmehl; her siblings, Norma Howell and Gordon Etter; her grandson Garet Schmehl; her brothers, Dustin Schmehl and Robert Lewis; and her son Terry Lee Schmehl.
She is survived by: her children, Vickie Lewis (Wesley) of Lima, Lee Ann Jenkins (Kurt) of Saint Marys, Kristine Freels (Jerry) of New Bremen, Ireta Hegemier (Jeff) of Hudson, Ohio, Jerry Lee Schmehl of Saint Marys, Bruce Schmehl (Carol) of Saint Marys and Tony Schmehl (Renee) of Saint Marys; her sister Barb Doseck of New Knoxville; and her brother-in-law Dave Schmehl of Saint Marys. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren.
