We announce the death of Eloise Carpenter of Saint Marys, Ohio, who passed away on August 22, 2026, at the age of 96. Eloise will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Eloise will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Eloise will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Eloise’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Egley and Florine Egley (Neukom); her husband Norman Carpenter; and her children, Bill Carpenter, Kay Wurster and Jack Carpenter.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Carpenter (Kay) of McClure, Ohio, Tim Carpenter (Wanda) of Saint Marys and Kim Eversman (Larry) of Saint Marys. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and by one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home (314 W High St, St Marys, OH 45885). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
