He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gottschall (Bud) and Viola Gottschall. He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Poland); his children, Peter (Little Rock) and Elizabeth (Poland); and his siblings, William (Bill), Tom, Margaret, James (Jim) and Jerry. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. Edward Church (240 Tod Ln, Youngstown, OH 44504). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at the Belmont Park Cemetery (3346 Belmont Ave, Youngstown, OH 44505).
In lieu of flowers, thoughts and condolences, memorial contributions can be made by planting a tree in an Ohio National Forest.
