It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Wavell Bentley Sr. of Saint Paris, Ohio, who passed away on January 29, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert George and Malcolm Kizzie Bentley (Watkins); and his siblings, William Bentley, Alice Frank and Joy Humphries.
He is survived by: his wife Violet June Bentley (Rutt); his children, Theresa Gilson (John), Danell Holmes (Eric) and Danny W. Bentley Jr. (Meghan Rempe); his grandchildren, Cassie Bentley-Bradshaw (Dave) and Greyson Rempe; and his siblings, Mike Bentley, Donald Bentley (Susan) and Barbara Simmons.
