We announce the death of Dennis Karns of Saint Paris, Ohio, who passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 70. Dennis will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Roger Louis; and his brother-in-law Roy Cosby. He is survived by: his mother Eloise Kathryn Karns (Rose); his children, Jason (Amy), Brian (Sarah) and Alisha Karns; his grandchildren, Alivia Reisinger, Collin and Maryn Karns; and his sisters, Terry Cosby (Roy) and Marcia Callicoat (Larry).
A memorial gathering was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Atkins, Shively & Vernon Funeral Home (216 S Springfield St, St Paris, OH 43072). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
