It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry Lynn Hobbs of Saint Paris, Ohio, who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobert Hobbs and Agnes Hobbs (Gibson); his son Donald Hobbs; and his brothers, Carl and Clyde Hobbs.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Hobbs (Pumphrey); his daughter Angela Stover (Roger); his grandchildren, Jessee Wagner, Christopher Fent, Logan Stover and Cody Stover; his great grandchildren, Lilah and Sophia Fent; his sisters, Phyllis Green, Juanita McLaughlin, Myrna Owen, Carolyn Karnehm and Mary Katherine Marcum; and his stepdaughter Melissa Garwood (Jay). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Vernon Funeral Home (216 S Springfield St, St Paris, OH 43072). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Rosedale Cemetery (OH-235, Ohio 45317).
