Roberta Comer Obituary
We announce the death of Roberta Comer of Saint Paris, Ohio, who passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 95. Roberta will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Frank and Rebekah Frank (Ingalls); her former husband Edward Cook; her husband Albert Lee "Red" Comer; her son Lawrence "Frosty" Cook; her stepson Steve Comer; her stepgreat-grandson Matt Calland; and her siblings, Paul Frank and Dortha June Frank.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Cook, Sharon Ware (Marc), Brenda Cook and Linda Fullerton (Fred); her stepdaughter Lin Tyler; her stepdaughter-in-law Sharon Comer; and her sister-in-law Arbie Frank. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; thirty-nine great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Atkins, Shively & Vernon Funeral Home (216 S Springfield St, St Paris, OH 43072). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
