He was predeceased by: his parents, George R. Atkinson and Katherine Zelda Atkinson (Procter); and his brother Ronald Atkinson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Atkinson (Roberts); his daughters, April Kerns (Brian) and Terri Lynn Bingham; and his grandchildren, Caroline, Isabelle and Samuel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
