She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Clayton Monroe and Lina Abanade Cadwallader; her husband Edmond "Gene" Eugene Turner; her daughter Jeannie; and her siblings, Marcus Monroe, James Robert Monroe, Charles Edward Monroe, Hartzell Monroe, Harry Monroe, Ira Monroe, Junior Monroe, Myrtle Brewer, Anna Mae Cohn, Louise Gaffin, Thelma Davis, Deloris Maitheny and Bessie Cohn.
She is survived by: her brothers, Ralph Monroe of Urbana and Kenneth "Skip" Monroe of Locust Grove. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Atkins, Shively & Vernon Funeral Home (216 S Springfield St, St Paris, OH 43072). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hazel Turner's Funeral Service (216 S Springfield St, St Paris, OH 43072).
