It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Gene Switzer (Saint Paris, Ohio), who passed away on February 1, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyd Switzer and Lily Switzer (Welch); his son Rick Switzer; and his brothers, Kenneth, Junior, Benny and Billy Switzer.

He is survived by : his wife Lois Switzer; and his children, Deborah, Tom (Bobbi Switzer), Jim (Angela Switzer) and Tim Switzer. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, forty-six great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Children's Hospital.
