He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard A. Cope and Esther Bricker Cope; his wife Carole Rankin Cope; and his brother Richard Cope. He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth A. Barton (Jeff) of Salem; his grandsons, Jeffrey and Jared Barton; his son Robert Alan Cope (Stephanie) of Alliance; his grandchildren, Samantha Muniz (Ben) and Alexandria Davenport (Hugh); and his brother Thomas Cope. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
