She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin H. Fraundofer and Thelma M. Fraundofer (Gaston); her spouse Thomas A. Lantz; her sister Marylou Schwandtner; and her pet Jaeger.

She is survived by: her sons, Toby Lantz (Alexandria) of Lisbon and Michael Lantz (Margarita Reyes) of Lakewood; her stepchildren, Erin Green of Washington, DC and Erika McGowan (Frank) of Atlanta; her sister Betty Kuzemchak (Mark) of Salem; and her grandchildren, Monica Lantz, Sean Barringer, Kristian Lantz, Gabriel Lantz, Lacy Lantz and Annalee Lantz.

Memorial contributions may be made in Barb's name to the Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon.
