With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Donald Eugene Stoffer of Salem, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Stoffer and Mona Sloan Stoffer; and his siblings, Patricia Wilde, Earl Stoffer and Danny Stoffer.
He is survived by: his wife Verna Jane VanFossan Stoffer; his children, Douglas Shelley Stoffer of Wernersville, PA and Christina "Chris" Sweeney (Dale) of Lisbon; his grandsons, Chad Stoffer (Michelle), Adam Stoffer (Jessica), Aaron Sweeney (Jennifer) and Colin Sweeney; and his stepgrandchildren, Katie McCalicher (Zach) and Rick Greir. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
Donald had chosen to donate his body to the Northeast Ohio Medical University, NEOMED, which is where his grandson Aaron attended, Burial will take place at a later date at North Georgetown Cemetery.
