She was predeceased by : her parents, James King and Fern King (Shipman); her daughter Susan Wooding; her son-in-law Richard Hacket; and her siblings, Florence Borton, Marsha Beck, Jean Newhouse and James King.

She is survived by : her husband Carl J. McGaffick; her daughter Kim Miller (John) of Belgrade, MT; her son-in-law James Wooding; and her stepdaughters, Cindy Hacket of Austin, TX and Sally Ademy (Joseph) of Irmo, SC.. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
