He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Mattix and Rhea Mattix (Flugan). He is survived by: his wife Sarah "Sal" Hartford; his sons, Rick (Sue) and Bill (Jessie); his grandchildren, Derick, Hannah, Dominique and Nicholas; and his great grandchildren, Jayce, Sebastian, Marcus and Logan.
