He is survived by: his parents, Clarence Smith and Rose Marie Smith; his wife Rachel; his sons, Roman, Brad (Ashley), Skyler and Reagan; his stepchildren, Jacob, Riley and Max; his sisters, Gwen Smith-Darnell (John) and Gail Smith; his nephew Richard Kamperman (Christy); and his niece Kim Varley (Tom).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home (8536 Market St, Boardman, OH 44512). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 22nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Columbiana Arts Theater (5 N Main St, Columbiana, OH 44408).

Memorial contributions may be made to the Gregory B. Smith Sr. Legacy Foundation, 1965 Shady Lane, Salem, Ohio 44460.
