He is survived by: his wife Arlene Thiel of Boardman, Ohio.; his children, John Thiel (Michelle Thiel), Thomas Thiel (Annie Thiel) and Donna Gaier (Doug Gaier); and his sister Betty Mennona. He is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
