Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Pittman and Ruth Pittman (Engler); and his daughter Brandy Pittman. He is survived by: his caregiver Donna Pittman; his son-in-law Dan Masters of Westville Lake; his siblings, Millie Pittman of Lisbon, Lewis Pittman of Salem, Mark Engler of Salem and David "Bubba" Pittman of Salem; and also, Brian Pittman of Salem and Miranda French of Leetonia.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stark Memorial Funeral Home (1014 E State St, Salem, OH 44460). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
