She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Beatty and Anna Brandt Rians; her husband Daniel E. Smith; her son Timothy Emerson Smith of Boardman, OH; her brothers, Chester B. Rians, Gerald F. Rians, John S. Rians and James R. Rians; and her niece Deborah Anne Rians.
She is survived by: her sons, Gregory Rians (Elizabeth) of Canyon Country, CA and Daniel Thaddeus (Lisa) of Poland, OH; her grandchildren, Townsend Bendersmith (Sarah) of Youngstown, OH, Derek Smith (Madison) of Davis, CA, Hadleigh Smith Savage (Michael) of Johnstown, PA, Brian Smith (Alexa) of Palestine, TX, Kevin Smith (Camila) of Idaho Falls, ID and Tobias Smith; her great grandchildren, Madigan Bendersmith, Cormac Bendersmith and Shay Smith; her brother Michael D. Rians (Terri) of Sutherlin, OR; her nieces and nephews, Shelley Rians Ingram, Debbie Rians Hadfield, Sandi Rians Snell, Gina Rians McKenna, Mary Rians Gschwend, Kathleen Rians Lowery, Deni Rians Keen, Clark Rians, Larry Rians, Steve Rians, Rob Rians and David Rians; her cousins, JoAnn Brandt Engst, Shelly Engst Decker and Nici Engst Haerter; Julie M.
