He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Johnston; his sons, Doug Johnston (Diane) and Jeff Johnston (Jan); and his stepchildren, Robert Patton, Paul Williams (Mary Ann), Andrew Williams, Matthew Williams (Lenna), Janet Leipheimer (Robert), Diane Klemann and Angela Walker (Jon). He is also survived by fourteen step grandchildren and fourteen step great grandchildren.
