With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judith Kay Shanks Martin of Salem, Ohio, born in Wellsville, Ohio, who passed away on May 22, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Mabel Shanks, (Watkins) and John H. Shanks, Sr.; her son Johnny Ray Phillips; her brother Curtis; her sister-in-law Janice Shanks; her sister Nadyne Underhill; and her great grandchild Baby John.

She is survived by : her children, Diana Vitagliano (John) of Lakeland, FL, Deborah Phillips of Steubenville, Tom Martin (Rebecca) of Brilliant, OH and Tim Martin of Tampa, FL; her siblings, Joyce Morrow of Calcutta, Sharon Webber (Jim) of Beloit, OH, Darrell Shanks (Lois) of Washington, PA and John H. Shanks, Jr. (Arlene) of Pittsburgh; and her great grandchildren, Zeke Elliott Silva and Judy. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
