He is survived by: his children, Lonnie Gilbert Jr. of Salem, Brian Gilbert and David Gilbert; and his siblings, Grace Gilbert of Salem, Karen Kurpil (Tom), Diane Banar (Joe) and Jerry Gilbert (Debbie). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
