It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn McCartney of Salem, Ohio, who passed away on January 17, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cora Headland and Willard Headland Sr.; her husband Carl; her son Michael (Beth); and her sisters, Naomi Knoch Gerondel and Janet Faulkiner (Robert).
She is survived by: her children, Jerry McCartney (Kathy) and Renae K. Unkefer; and her brother Willard Headland Jr. (Marilyn).
She later became a devoted member of Westville Bible Church, where she faithfully served until the onset of COVID.
