With sadness, we share the passing of Martha Leider of Salem, Ohio. Martha, born on May 20, 1930, passed away on August 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Mankin and Esssie Mankin (Vankirk); her husband Lawrence L. Leider; her daughter Judy Groves; and her siblings, Gertrude Rouse, Goldie Forsythe, Alice Turner, Joyce Hamon, Clarence Mankin and Frank Mankin.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Capel of Salem, Timothy L. Leider (Linda) of Conway and Mark Leider (Cindy) of Salem; her sister Charlotte Durbin of Canton; her grandchildren, Amy, Heather, Daniele, Abi, Matthew, Tennielle, Rylee and Bailee; and her great grandchildren, Joshua, Austin, Hannah, Jacob, Samantha, Destiny, Chloe, Nathan, Brady, Lovah and Nicholas.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stark Memorial (1014 E State St, Salem, OH 44460). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
