He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Harrold and Phyllis Harrold (Carter); his sister Wendy Grega-Critser; his son Michael Jr.; and his pet Cooper.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Nyktas; his children, Jacki Hruby, Michele Chafins (Albert) and Stephen Harrold (Annie); his brother Barry Grega; his grandchildren, Joseph Briceland (Brittany), Erin Briceland (Cole), Amanda Springer (Kevin) and Olivia; and his great grandchildren, Kiley, Josie, Jade, Hudson and Elias.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:50 PM at the Stark Memorial (1014 E State St, Salem, OH 44460). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 4:50 PM and at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, http://www.stjude.org, or Shriners Children's, http://www.shrinerschildrens.org, in memory of Michael's love for children.
