He is survived by: his wife Joanne Schaffer (Burkey); his children, Barbara Lawton (David) of Salem and James Schaffer (Janet) of Greenford; his grandchildren, Zachary, Curtis, Travis and Alexis; his great grandchild Russell; and his sisters, Margie Parks of Sebring and Savilla McCabe of Youngstown.
