He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Jr. Hilliard and Iva Mae Hilliard (Birkhimer). He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Hilliard; his children, Mary Nelson of Hanoverton and Wayne Hilliard of Salem; his brother Donald Hilliard of Washington; his children, Iva Jeanne Handwork, Judith Pesta, Raymond "Lee" Hilliard and James Hilliard; and his sister Iva Burton. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
