With sadness, we share the passing of Richard Stroka of Salem, Ohio. Richard, born on September 26, 1938, passed away on September 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stroka and Ann Stroka. He is survived by: his wife Rose Stroka; his children, Amy Stroka Eshelman, Melissa Gower (Chad), Rebecca Palmer (Mike), Brian Mitchell (Bobbie), Deidre Mitchell and Stephanie Mitchell (Tiffany); and his siblings, John Stroka (Marsha), Mary Ann Walthour (Dean) and Helen Miller (Danny). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at the Stark Memorial (1014 E State St, Salem, OH 44460). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
