He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Goterba and Marjorie Goterba (Ockerman); his son Timothy Hippely; his grandson Richard Dennison; his brother Jack Goterba; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Goterba.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Cook; and his children, Rebecca Tibbs (Mike), Tami Combs (Kenny) and William Goterba (Tamar). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
