He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Martig and Esther Martig (Courtney); his wife Alice Sanor; and his siblings, Jess Martig and Nellie Stryffeler.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Bernard (Mark) of Twinsburg, Earl Martig (Connie) of Beloit, Sam Martig (Deborah) of Sebring, Marvin Martig (Tiffany) of Beloit and John Martig (Natela) of Beloit.
