He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Truitt and Edith Truitt (Dierkes); and his brothers, Dennis Truitt and Tom Truitt. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Sue; his children, Timothy Truitt (Kathy), James Truitt (Jessica) and Lisa Martig; his grandchildren, Tiffany, Jessica, Bailey, Jason, Phillip, Shae, Lauren and Katie; and his siblings, Larry Truitt, Rick Truitt, Jon Truitt, Robert Truitt, Chuck Truitt, Carol Selley and Debra Shrader. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
