He was predeceased by: his father Clyde Zepernick; and his wife Colleen Zepernick. He is survived by: his mother Ida Hartsough Zepernick; his daughter Kara Sturgeon (Ben) of Salem; his siblings, Carol Speece (Bill) of Salem, Dave Zepernick (Lorinda) of Alliance, Randy Zepernick (Nan) of Aurora and Judy Heath (Jim) of Norton; and his grandchildren, Carson and Adalee (Roman Buck). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stark Memorial (1014 E State St, Salem, OH 44460). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
