He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon VanHorn and Ethel Allison VanHorn; his son Bradley VanHorn; and his siblings, Violet, Ruth, Herb, Joann, Patsy, Ellen, Gwen and Timothy.
He is survived by: his wife Betty J. Prather; and his children, Thomas E. VanHorn Jr. of Kentucky, Eric VanHorn (Mindy) of Youngstown, Robert VanHorm (Bobbi Jo) of Lisbon, Steven Zimmerman (Megan) of Lisbon, Joanie Douglas (Jim) of Columbiana and Janette Whitman (Arnold) of Salem. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
