It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Werner E. Fitz of Salem, Ohio, who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Werner E. Fitz to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Eduard and Gertrude; his wife Phyllis J. Arnoto; his sister-in-law Nancy; his nephew Gregory; and his uncle Alfred.

He is survived by : his children, Tim (Nancy), Kathleen (Tim), Keith (Rebecca) and Danielle; his siblings, Gerhart (Camella), Edward Jr. (Toni) and Ingrid (John); his aunt Herta; and his siblings-in-law, Benjamin and Vivian. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, one great-grandchild.

The family ask that donations be made in his memory to East Fairfield United Methodist Church, 45675 state Route 558, New Waterford, Ohio 44445 or to Hospice of the Valley, 9803 Sharrott Road, Poland, Ohio 44514.
