She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernie Schultz and Florence Schultz (Failor); her husband Loren W. Heckelman; her sisters, Diane, Lucy and Judith; and her grandson Andrew Heckelman.
She is survived by: her children, Loren Heckelman (Elena), Rex Heckelman (Maricela), Curtis Heckelman (Karen) and Lucy Joiner (Joe); and her cousins, Harlan Schultz (Joyce) of Iowa and MaryLou Stauffer of Milan. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
