It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernita Cora Schaeffer of Sandusky, Ohio, who passed away on February 15, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Henry and Cora Henrietta Parker (Justi); her husband Robert E. "Bud" Schaeffer; her daughter Sharon Fear; her brother George Parker; her foster sister Elizabeth Duskins; and her children-in-law, Linda Schaeffer and Jerry Baumgardner.

She is survived by: her children, Jacalyn Baumgardner of Sandusky and Donald Schaeffer (Roberta) of Sandusky; her son-in-law Gregory Fear; her grandchildren, Shane Baumgardner, Bradley Baumgardner, Jennifer Patrick, Amy Pachasa, Melissa Graham, Robin Cramer and Becky Copeland; and her great grandchildren, Garrett Baumgardner, Angela Baumgardner, Cora Patrick, Taylor Hamlin, Cortney Copeland, Jacob Kuhl, Madison Kuhl, Victoria Pachasa and Andrew Pachasa.
