She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack E. Hicks and Alexine C. Hicks (Wilson) of Sandusky; her grandparents, Thurston and Leona Hicks; her aunts, Gloria Jones and Willie Mae Wilson; her siblings, Jacquelyn Hicks, Rodney and Daryl Hicks; her daughter Dawn Philon; and her aunt Dorothy Farrar.
She is survived by: her son Demond Hicks of Sandusky; her grandchildren, Devantè Lanier, Keyana Hicks and Dalaya Philon; her siblings, Deborah Robinson (Donald) and Terrance Hicks (Brenda); her siblings' children, Jason, Alexis, Tanesha Hicks, April Stowers (Josiah), Erin Olvera (Robert), Nadia Ivory (Michael), Ciara and Ce'Von Martin; and her son-in-law Charles Philon. She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren, and a host of other great nieces and nephews.
