He was predeceased by: his parents, William Newman and Margaret Newman; his brother Bill; and his grandson Mac Newman. He is survived by: his siblings, Jan and Bob; his wife Julie (Young); his grandchildren, Mia Freed and Otto Lenhart; and his pet Belgian.
A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church (510 Columbus Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870).
