She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Huey and Nellie Chappell (Barney); and her husband George E. Haws. She is survived by: her sons, David Owens (Melissa) of Sandusky and Dan Owens (Michele) of Grafton; her grandchildren, Danielle Daugherty (Matt), Justin Owens, Tyler Owens (Elora) and Jarret Owens; her great grandchildren, Olivia and Emilia; and her siblings, Anne Ryan, Robert Chappell (Janet), Nancy Hitchcock (Nelson), Doris Stadtmiller (Robert) and Donna Zometsky. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
